How to clear memory of previous scan?

Hi
I'm using plustek scanner with SilverFast Ai Studio 8, mainly for single slide scanning.
I'm quite green with this program.
Any time I'm starting new scan SilverFast keep bringing previous slide image and kind of overwriting on it with the new one.
This bothers me.
How can I clear previous scan?
Is there any way to clear memory of last scan?

Dear customer,

The preview is replaced by a new prescan.
It shows the state you left SilverFast so you can continue working if you have to stop before finishing your settings for a scan.
The preview can only be "emptied" by a complete reset.
But I would not suggest doing that because it resets all the settings.

An easier way is to just do a Prescan, with nothing in the scanner. I do that so new clients don't see prior client scans.
