how embedded is an embbedded profile?

Dear all,
I just want to be sure:
I recreate calibration profiles for my scanner on a regular base.
I give them different names so I know when and why...

When I save my HDR scanns with the current profile the profile is completely within the file, correct?
So I may delete the older calibration profiles as there is no reason to keep them...?

yes, you are right. There is no reason to keep the old profiles.
