Hello from a new SF user in the Netherlands

Late April I got a G4 iMac and Nikon LS 40 bundled with SF 5.5 SE, I also switched to OS X so I barely touched SF since a month ago or so when I hooked the LS 40 on my 'old' G3 to give SF a try because of the excellent reviews. First of all I was baffled by the speed gain and prescan size! Also better colors when scanning negative material.... Enough reason to upgrade to 6 Ai, I was sold when I saw the QT tutorials so I ordered.
In the meantime I'm playing with the demo, discovering SRD with B/W, it really works when you take some time to play with it. The masks in SRD and Selective Color Correction are great. In short: I'm getting a much better scanner, which I already considered as pretty good.
I can't wait to use the real thing!
