Hello,
I recently upgraded my Ai 5.5(with IT8) and HDR 5.5 to AI 6 and HDR 6.
I have no problem to use the IT8 calibration feature with the upgraded AI6.
However, when I try to setup "Scanner-Internal-Calibration" in HDR 6, It is
grayed out so I can't select it.
Also, There is no "Calibration profile" under "Embedded ICC Profiles" in HDR 6
When I upgraded my HDR 5.5 to the new HDR 6, I used the old HDR 5.5 serial number for it.
Should I have used the AI serial number with IT8 calibration for HDR6?
I though that I needed to use Ai serial number for Ai upgrade and HDR serial number for HDR upgrade.
Thank you,
HDR 6 with IT 8

HDR and using Calibration Profiles
HDR and using Calibration Profiles
In SilverFast HDR you can use the ICC-Calibration profiles you have generated with your SilverFast Ai IT8 calibration.
The item Calibration in HDR is only active when HDR is having the IT8-calibration option activated (so you would do the IT8-Calibration in HDR instead of your scanner SilverFast Ai).
What you would do to use calibration is either:
1. Embed the ICC-profile during the scan
You would then select: Scanner -->Internal:"Use embedded Profile" or
2. Allocate the previously in SF Ai generated ICC-profile in HDR
Select: Scanner -->Internal: ColorSync and
Select your ICC-scanner-profile under ->Profiles for ColorSync ->Scanner ...
