I just updated my Silverfast SE Plus 8.5.0r4 to r7 and realized that there is no option "Gamma gradation for HDR output" anymore? Why is that or am i missing something? I have found it very useful in scanning B&W negatives. Now all the scans are very bright and even though i invert and make all the corrections in photoshop, the quality is not as good as it use to be when i could change the gamma in Silverfast. Due the brighter scans pictures tend to be much more grainy than they used to be.
Is there some other way to control gamma in HDR scans?

Re: Gamma Gradation for HDR output?
Dear customer,
That option was removed because it compromises the "Unchanged archive format" Idea behind the HDR(i) RAW format.
Please use the normal output if you want to scan with gamma adjustment.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
