Hi. Have upgraded to Panther and hope to scan using 'photoscore' music scanning software and my aged Epson GT7000. Software insists on twain supported scanner. My question is: will the GT7000 run in Panther, and if so, will SilverFast 6 provide the neccessary TWAIN support? I do not wish to use classic OS.
... or should I just go buy a new scanner?
EpsonGT7000/Panther/Twain. What are my chances?

Dear Sam the Drums
SilverFast already supports this scanner under OS X 10.3 (aka "Panther").
However, there is no TWAIN support implemented. Furthermore, it is unlikely to be done in the future.
If you need TWAIN, you would have to resort to OS 9.
If 'photoscore' will work on saved images for its music OCR, please note you could use the stand-alone version of SilverFast with it.
