I'm using Plustek OpticPro A320 scanner and I downloaded Silverfast 6.6 demo (it's the only version the scanner supports).
I'm trying to make a scan with ICC profile embedded, so that it is visible in the Details tab in file properties. This doesn't work. In Options > CMS > Embedd ICC profiles I have "Embedd ICC profile" checked and a profile is set (Adobe RGB 1998 in my case). However, every scan comes out without a colour profile embedded and there's nothing in Colour profile field in file properties...
Does the demo support embedding, am I doing something wrong, or is this function disabled in the demo?
I set Input > Internal to ICM, Internal > Monitor to ICM, Internal > Output to RGB
Then, in Input I chose any kind of scanner (I don't care know, I just need the profile in my file) and Internal is set to Adobe RGB 1998...
Does demo version support ICC profile embedding?

Re: Does demo version support ICC profile embedding?
Dear customer,
Have you maybe selected one of the 48/16 bit HDR formats or a black and white output like 16->8 bit, 16 bit or 16->1 bit?
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Thank you for your reply.
Actually, it seems that the files produced by SilveFast in demo mode do have profiles embedded. For some reason they're not described in a file's properties, but when I open the file in Photoshop it tells me there's a profile embedded... I guess that means the functionality I need to have is indeed there, luckily.

Re: Does demo version support ICC profile embedding?
I haven't selected those, I selected the "usual" 48->24 Bit Colour scan type.
However, I can say that I was mistaken that the profiles weren't being embedded - while there seems to be no information in a file's properties regarding ICC profiles, when I actually open a scanned image file in Photoshop it does warn me about a profile embedded in the file, which means Silverfast does indeed embed profiles when I check the option.
Now that I know the profiles embedding is working, I have some more questions about Silverfast software - can I ask further questions here or should I open a new one?
