Discount for WIN and MAC versions ?

Postby mpx » Fri Dec 19, 2003 7:20 pm

Can I purchase a WIN and MAC version of SilverFast at a discount for the same scanner ?

Can I get a discount if I purchase HDR and SilverFast for WIN and MAC ?

It would be for the same "one user" (with many hands).

Thanks from sunny Arizona.

It's Christmas time, isn't it... ;-)

If buying more than one version of SilverFast you are elligible to a "multi-user-discount", even when you are in fact just 'one user with many hands'.

Please contact info@silverfast.com to get more detailed information about the discount we can offer in your case.
If you got a customer number with us, please mention it in your email.
Thanks for your co-operation.

Dear mpx.

If you purchase SilverFast, you are entitled to use both MAC and Win versions in 6 different languages for the same price. You will also get free updates within the same major vesion number.

Dear mpx

Just to clarify things. As Eric wrote, you may use Win and Mac versions without further payment.
However, when possessing an Ai version and wanting to purchase an HDR, too, you would have to buy it. But then you are, as I wrote, elligible to a discount price.

LSI,

I purchased AI 6 a few months back for my PC. I just recently bought new MAC G5. If I understand correctly, I do not need to purchase a MAC version. But,hHow do I go about getting a copy of AI 6 for MAC? I downloaded the upgrade for MAC using my existing serial number and tried to install it, but am unable to serialize it because it needs the original CD, which I can't find because I just moved to NY and everything is in boxes. What is the best course of action?

joseph.

Dear Joseph.

SilverFast really needs that CD. The CD is the only way to determine that you have a legal copy of SilverFast.
If you can?t find your origianal CD, please contact the sales department at: sales@silverfast.de, possibly they will send another copy to you.

Best regards

Eric,

Just to clarify, if I do find my CD... will the AI upgrade I downloaded from Silverfast's website for my new MAC serialize after putting in the AI CD that I purchased for my PC? Or will I need to get a MAC version of the AI CD?

Dear Joseph.

The CD, you got when you purchased SilverFast, works on MAC and PC.

Eric.
