I noticed a significant perfromance improvement using Digial ICE when upgrading to Verion 6.4.0r9c from 6.4.0r8b. Anyone else notice this and is it something to should worry about? Perfromance improvements are great but I am not sure the ICE is being perfromed correctly.
Thanks, Bob

Hello Bob,
I am also using an Epson 4870 and SF Ai Studio 6.4.0r9c and ICE.
In my case I am scanning Kodachrome transparencies at very high resolutions. Without ICE the images are unbelievably dirty with dust and many years worth of gunk that no amount of normal cleaning will remove. Now I know that Digital ICE is not supposed to work on Kodachrome, but using SilverFast the ICE processing produces amazingly clean and crisp images from my Kodachromes.
There is no doubt in my mind that Digital ICE is properly implemented in 6.4.0r9c, it's absolutely fantastic.
All the best,
Trevor.
