I have Silverfast AI 6.x and a digital camera (canon 10D). Can I use this software to process jpegs or Raw images from the camera or do I need to purchase more software?

Take a look at the DC version. You can download a demo from here:

The versions of Ai are specific to a scanner and are not usable for other devices. HDR is usable for all devices because it is working with an already scanned image in a file. DC is a version of HDR from what i understand.
