Hi!
I'm trying to figure out which version would best suit my needs, and I must say that I can't find much of useful information that will make it easy to make that choice. For instance, I can't figure out what's the difference between Ai and Ai Studio? I'm really surprised that there is no comparison matrix that would list all the details about each particular product. Some single matrix showing all the important differences between SE, SE PLUS, Ai and Ai Studio would be very helpful.
Also, does Ai work with any IT8 targets or only targets made by certain manufacturers?
Thanks in advance.
Difference between Ai and Ai Studio?

Dear groundhog
SE - consumer scanning solution
Ai - for professional professionals
plus/Studio - featuring new functions, like AACO, enhanced printing dialogue, JPEG 2000 and PDF output, pixel cloning utility,...
I have already ordered a kind of consumer's decision guide to be produced from our marketing staff. Please expect our site to be even more informative in the next year.
The IT8 calibration feature of SilverFast Ai (Studio) will work with any IT8 target, of course. However, targets from LaserSoft Imaging have a barcode for automatic recognition. SilverFast even automatically downloads the appropriate reference file to use with such a target from our web server if none is present on your system and internet connection is given.
Hope this helps. Have a very Merry Christmas,

RE: Difference between Ai and Ai Studio?
Sonny,
Thanks a lot, that answers my questions. I'm sure that a lot of people will appreciate having that feature-comparison matrix to aid them in picking up the right product.
