Crazy software or Bugs ? How to chose Infrared or SRD ?

Silverfast SE 6.5.5r4: Manys hours to make scans trials to try understanding how to choose betwenn Infrared or software processing in the ISRD manual setting window-> Impossible to known what the software will be done !! The preview is not representative of the final result and is unpredictable. Maybe it depend if I tick first "infrared" or first "dust and scratch removal", if I untick Infrared before ticking "dust and...removal" or the opposite, but I don't succceed to known what will be append at the end. In addition impossible to unselect a "preset parameters" to "none" after the software have choose automaticaly a preset for you, impossible to deselect it ! And no explanation in the manuals.
Crazy software or crazy engineer ?

I tried this now with 6.5.5r5. When I click on a checkbox either for iSRD or for Dust and Scratch removal the oposite is changed too, so one is activated and the other not. The iSRD / SRD preview is the same, whyt comes out later, but the normal preview will not show the effect of iSRD/SRD. To see the iSRD/SRD preview you need to click on the iSRD button until a new settings button comes below the iSRD button. When click the settings button you get the iSRD / SRD preview with all settings.
