Compatibility with Intel iMac and OS 10.5

I need to upgrade my Silverfast AI6rl (PPC) for Epson 2450 Photo to work with Intel iMac using OS 10.5.6. It looked like I was going to be able to upgrade. But, when it got down to it only 10.4 (with no mention of Intel) was given as a choice. How can I upgrade to Intel?

I am having trouble with my Mac recognizing the scanner, a Plustek 7300. I just bought the scanner and loaded the Silverfast programs. On the carton it indicated the Mac drivers were included with the silverfast 6.6. Should I have loaded the Plustek setup disk as well? On the disk it reads that it is for windows .... I would really like to get it operating. Any advise?

Dear Customer,

The Plustek 7300 only needs the SilverFast CD to be installed.
Please install the latest version of SilverFast from our website.
