Greetings,
I just did a calibration and was setting my CMS options. The instructions I am using indicate that I should set CMS: Internal - > Monitor to Automatic. I can't do that. Why?
My monitor is calibrated with a Spyder2 if that helps.

Dear Mark.
The option "Automatic" for "CMS: Internal -> Monitor" is available only if you are using PhotoShop as your host application.
"Automatic" means that the host application matches the RGB data from the internal color space to the monitor color space using its own profiles. This ensures that the colors you see in SilverFast are the same as the colors you see in your host application after the scan.
PhotoShop supports such a matching function, the SF Launcher and many other host application do not.
Best regards

Hi,
I'm having the same issue.
However, I'm operating from Photoshop.
The Automatic option is simply greyed out.
I'm using Silverfast AI with OS X.
Here are my settings

Dear renata,
please select CMS: Internal - > Monitor:ColorSync
This is the corect setting if you want to use the ICC Profile for your Monitor that is also set in System Preferences ->Monitors
