Hi, I will be generating a scanner profile with a 3rd party target and I will then be scanning my images in Ai and process them in HDR. I am listing down the setting for the CMS and if some kind soul could go through them to check if they are correct, I will be very grateful.
CMS for generating profile:
scanner->internal: NONE
internal->output: NONE
internal->output: RGB
scanner: NONE
Internal: NONE
CMS for scanning in SF Ai
scanner->internal: NONE
internal->output: AUTOMATIC
internal->output: RGB
scanner: NONE
Internal: ADOBE RGB
gray: GENERIC GRAY
rendering intent: PERCEPTUAL
profile to embed: ADOBE RGB
CMS for HDR
scanner->internal: IMAGE COLOUR MATCHING((ICM)
internal->output: AUTOMATIC
internal->output: RGB
scanner: 3RD PARTY SCANNER PROFILE
Internal: ADOBE RGB
gray: GENERIC GRAY
rendering intent: PERCEPTUAL
profile to embed: ADOBE RGB
Am I correct with my CMS inputs??
Do I need to let the SF Ai be aware that, at the stage of scanning my images, the 3rd party scanner profile is available. Or do I leave to the stage when I am at HDR to use the scanner profile??
Thanks a million!!!

Dear cowgum.
Your settings seem to be ok.
When generating profiles, you don?t have to care about the profiles, SilverFast sets them to defaults automatically.
When scanning with Ai, I would recommend to scan 16-bit (raw) uncorrected Data, this will give better results in HDR, whenn applying the profile and other corrections.
