Can't Install Silverfast

I have had some correspondence on this subject but it has gone nowhere.

My problem is straightforward - when I run the CD a number of files install and I receive a message saying that the installation has been successful.BUT - there is no exe file and I can't complete the installation and am therefore unable to use the programme.

My Operating System Is Windows XP and my scanner is an Epson Perfection 3200. The installation disk is version 6.0.1.14

Is there a solution please??????

Try this. If you have not already installed the stand alone application available here:

http://www.silverfast.com/show/sf-launcher/en.html

This will allow you to run the Ai module

Otherwise , you will find the Silverfast module in Photoshop under the File/Import menu item.

Many thanks Frank for the helpful information which is what I have been looking for for some time: I have found the module in Photoshop and things seem to be happening at last with ScanPilot appearing for the first time!

I have made a sucessful initial scan of a transparency - the learning curve now begins!
