Can not get SRD to activate or work

I am new to Silverfast and can not get SRD to activate when I select the button. Is there a special sequence one has to use to get it to activate??

Dear jamesC -

To activate SRD you have to choose first the SRD button. If you do this a new button will appear below the SRD button

Choose this button and the SRD dialog will open.
Hopefully everything works fine now
