When using SF Ai in standalone mode, the 'Automatic' CMM setting for Internal->Monitor is greyed out.
But it's available if launching the plug-in from within Photoshop.
Why can't 'Automatic' be set in standalone mode seeing as it still launches Photoshop to open the final scan?
If it really isn't possible to set 'Automatic' here when using SF in standalone mode, how then does one ensure calibration?
Thanks.
(I know Cow posted the same observation below, but I'm still wondering why it can't be done)
Automatic not available in Internal->Monitor. Why?

Dear Yoda.
Photohop offers a function to diaplay image data. We use this function for the preview if automatic is on. Photoshop displays the image data exactly like it displays the final scan (the same monitor profile). This secures that the colors in our preview and the final scan matches.
Our standalone doesn?t display image data and therefore doesn?t offer such a function.
Scanner calibration is done before displaying and thus shouldn?t be a problem.
Eric.

Eric, thanks for the clarification
Hi Eric,
It wasn't a complaint, just a query. I couldn't figure out how 'automatic' works but your explanation makes sense.
Many thanks again.
