Auto Frame detection does not work

Hello,
I am using version 6.5.5r4 with DigitDia5000 with more or less problems. But most are due to the usability of the Software.
Overall it is working.
Now whenever I tried to update to a newer Version of Silverfast, suddenly the autodetection of the Dia orientation
did no longer work in batch mode. Today I tried it with 6.6.0.r3a and still it does not work.
I tried all different settings - still not working. I can perform a pre-scan and press the button for search of the frame -
works correct. But again in bAtch all slides are scanned in vertical orientation.
I am very disappointed about this and can not understand what to change in order to have this working. I could not find
any hint what has been modified that this is gone !!
Will need to go back now to the older version and hope to get some real help and explanation. I cannot believe that this is
not experienced somewhere else yet.
