Attempting to Upgrade to AI 6

I have a Polaroid Sprintscan Plus and Silverfast Ai 5.2. I have not yet used Silverfast but recently downloaded the demo of Ai 6. I am impressed with its ability with negatives and the profiles included for film.

So, I want to upgrade and start using this. The Ai version I have drives my Sprintscan 120 just fine. The serial number maps to an HDR version. Is my understanding correct that HDR versions do NOT drive scanners? If so, what am I not understanding.

I am unable to upgrade to Ai 6 for the Sprintscan.

Is HDR what I want? or is my serial number mapping incorrectly?

That is correct, HDR does NOT drive a scanner.
You have another serial number that you should type into that web form. The correct number can be viewed from the SilverFast Ai application - click the INFO button ("i") and follow the dialogs.
