Ai IT8 calibration and Options settings

I am using Silverfast AI Studio v644r6.

Do any of the settings in the Options window, under any of the buttons: General, Auto, CMS or Special, have an effect on running IT8 Calibration and the resulting ICC Profile for my scanner?

If the settings do have an effect, how should they be changed to ensure an accurate and useful ICC Profile? (I attempted to upload a PNG screen shot showing my settings but it seems to have failed to upload).

Hi there Anton,

I also use Ai Studio with IT8 calibration. My understanding is that you do not need to do anything special with regard to the 'settings'. When using the IT8 Calibration button Silverfast automatically sets everything to a 'neutral' state in order to perform the calibration scan and measurement.

In any event I have not modified my settings in any way when performing calibration and have not had any difficulty myself.

Thanks for sharing your experience Trevor. I thought the same, but posted my question because I've recently heard conflicting information, some of in another Lasersoft forum, and wanted an official clarification.
