Ai 6 Upgrade..still won't launch

I recently moved up to the Nikon Super CoolScan LS4000; previously was using the LS30 model. Running both Mac OS 9 and OS 10.2 (Jaguar) but scanned with the LS30 under OS 9 running photoshop 7 and SilverFast Ai 6 plug-in (upgraded from the 5.5 plug-in).

I purchased a new Ai 6 serial number (upgrade not full) for the LS4000. Under OS 9 I installed upgrade into PS plug-ins folder, launched the app, Silverfast asked that I close the app and relaunch with SilverFast CD in the CD-ROM and re-enter serial number. The CD I have is version Ai 5 (5.1.1 to be exact..FULL version) for the Nikon CoolScan LS30. The upgrade serial would not take, neither did the CD's original serial. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of serials and a scanner I can't use unless I stick with the Nikon scanning software during the time I work on getting this Silverfast dilemma resolved? I would be guessing right that I'll have to buy the FULL CD for the LS4000?

You are right, the LS30 and the LS4000 are using different serial numbers. Please contact the sales department at [url]sales@silverfast.de[/url], perhaps you can get a discount.
