AI 6.4.2rd Whiteout when resizing back down from high mag

I'm starting to wonder if the lateset AI release just isn't ready for prime time or if I'm just the biggest nuckle head out here.

I'm finding when I've magnified a frame by Ctrl-drag and have a fairly high level of magnification, that when I've done my repairs and need to resize back down to actual size, I click the mag button and soon get an alwhite canvas and everything stalls out.

This is with hi res scan set to 1X .

I've spent a very lot of money on Silverfast tools, maybe without near enough testing but just didn't expect to run into the kind of problems I've been posting about this week.

Dark screen on highres magnification, descreening failing to work, and now this jam up from dropping down from hires.

Only the first I know for sure is a bug. Are the others bugs too?
