AI 6.0 NIKON COOLSCAN 4000 ED

Postby curtpeters » Sat Mar 29, 2003 5:29 am

JUST GOT A G4 WITH DUAL 125's AND 2.0GB RAM AND 180GB HD. RUNNING OS X 10.2.4. NIKON SCAN 3.1.3 AND PHOTOSHOP 7.0.1

My problem was that the install wizard produced an error and would not let me install AI 6. apparently, I've got too much ram.javascript:emoticon('') I removed one 512MB chip javascript:emoticon('')and was then able to load AI 6 with no gliches.javascript:emoticon('') I did easy install. I then replaced the 512 chip. I will only or mainly be using AI 6 to scan 135mm Positives via Photoshop 7.0.1. prescan seems to operate the scanner, but no picture ever appears. Scan (final) starts the scanner, but after 5 to 10 minutes an error "Scan 0" is displayed.

I need help in making the correct settings so AI 6 will operate on my system.

Did you install NikonScan before Silverfast ? That was a problem with 10.2.3.
BTW, you may want to post this under the NIKON forum and the OSX forum to get a quicker response.
