After scanning into photoshop cs 6

Greetings,
I'am a newby, so my question is perhaps a joke.
I use Silverfast to scan my black and white medium-format negatives.
After scanning the scan comes in into photoshop CS 6.
And at this moment comes my question: how to get a positive image from the negative one that appears as a layer.
Hope my question is clear and hope that someone can help me.

Dear Silverslow

please switch from positive mode to negative mode in SilverFast by clicking on the "positive" ikon. You will see the picture as a positive then.
