Adobe RGB 1998 files changed

Postby kmlevine » Wed Oct 27, 2004 3:56 pm

Can someone please tell me why, when updating SF, the adobe RGB 1998 profile icc file is changed to 2 files (icc and icm) with different creation dates from Adobe's default .icc? Also wondering why the file size is different than adobe's downloaded RGB 1998 file. Exactly what is the difference?

Any explanations will be appreciated.

Dear Ken

ICM is the Windows naming convention. Different apps on your computer seem to have installed the same file with a different name or to a different place.
You can use either one - there shouldn't be a difference.
