Adding IT8 calibration to Ai-Studio afterwards

Hello there,

I have recently upgraded my Silverfast Ai to Ai-Studio. This is the 'standard' version without IT8 calibration.

If I would like to get the IT8 Calibration option, what is involved? The order page seems very confusing and seems to indicate that you are ordering the Silverfast software again?

Also, there does not seem to be any way of specifying that I already have the Ai-Studio version of the software. How does the IT8 add on work? As I have a serial number for my Ai-Studio version, will the IT8 calibration serial number affect the functionality of my Ai-Studio version?

Sorry if I am being a bit vague here, but I'm just not sure what will happen if I order the IT8 Calibration on it's own. It's very expensive and I don't want to make any mistakes when ordering.

you are just right on this one, thanks (SNCR)
The options under "Store" on the website definitely need revision.

However, you want to select "Store" > "Order SilverFast online" > then you choose your scanner > "Order SilverFast 6" form appears.

Under "Software description", you'd better select "Studio" and give your Ai Studio serial number.
Most important: On "Extras", check "I'm ordering extras only, no software" and "IT8 target calibration".

Use the "comments" text field to explain again, if you want, that this is an IT8 option upgrade to a SilverFast Ai Studio.
This also is the correct place to tell us if you only need the IT8 option, but no targets, if you already possess still working targets true to the IT8 standard.
