Adding HDR Studio to Ai Studio

I have a licensed copy of Silverfast Ai Studio 8, and I want to add HDR Studio 8 to my imaging software. I have supplied my Ai Studio 8 serial number, and it is offering to crossgrade me to HDR Studio 8 for $324.25 US. I wanted to make sure before I make the purchase that I will be buying a serial number for HDR Studio 8 that I am demoing and it won't mess with my copy of the Ai Studio 8 scanning software. Will someone please confirm that a crossgrade dooes that?

You can purchase SilverFast HDR Studio as an upgrade to your SilverFast Ai Studio.
Please select the scanner software.
Here you will find the Archive Suite which is a bundle of SilverFast Ai Studio and SilverFast HDR Studio.
Purchasing this upgrade will add SilverFast HDR Studio to your Ai Studio version.
