Hi everybody at Silverfast to whom it concerns -
I ordered my upgrade from 6.4.4r7 SF Ai Studio to 6.5 SF Ai Studio just a few days after the release was announced (CD-order from your online store).
Up to now, it was not sent to me (at least, I don't have it in my hands).
Can anybody tell when this upgrade is likely to be shipped? :roll:
Another item is, that I am not sure if it's ok to take money for the upgrade within the 6-release, as your homepage stated clearly that each and every update within the 6-release is free. So, I am somewhat puzzled why I have to pay money for the 6.5 release and cannot download it for free, as announced before. :evil:

Well, in the US you could try taking them to court for violating deceptive advertising laws and possibly win. Don't know what the laws are in Germany.
It's tough when you intend one thing and then apparently change your mind half way through - they could have avoided the whole issue by calling it version 7 or selling it as an add in like the IT8 module. Silly marketing error in my opinion.

The president has made user friendly decisions in the past when things were sticky, so maybe there is hope for a reasonable solution to be worked out.
The real issue will arise if bugs that are present in the 6.4 and previous are not fixed unless one upgrades. THat would be a major bummer.
