48 bit output support in different versions

Does the basic Silverfast SE 8 version support 48 bit tiff output?

And as a suggestion...
I am trying the Silverfast 8 demo and it shows Silverfast AI Studio title. Beside the features listed in the key differences table
(http://www.silverfast.com/download/docu ... -08-21.pdf), I can't be 100% sure what I am actually buying in the Silverfast SE or SE Plus.

Dear ladahaj,

yes it supports it, but only in HDR mode, so you can open the scanned picture with SilverFast HDR.
If you want to have a 48 bit scan which you can open with a normal viewer, you must have SilverFast Ai Studio.
