Re: Font size in UI too small

I do have the latest version of HDR Studio (8.8.0r8) and the display font size does not change when increasing the size from 100% to 125%. The computer is a VAIO portable, Speccy lists the following display values: Name Nvidia Default on NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M Current Resolution 1536x864 pixels Work...

Find frames behaviour

Using "Frames / Find frames..." on an Epson 12 35mm slides tray, I noticed that all frames take the orientation of the frame which happens to be active when initiating the process. I change the scan output orientation of my HDRi RAW scans using the densitometer buttons. I would suggest tha...

Job manager won't output HDR RAW

Epson V700, Windows 10 64 bit, Ai Studio 8.8.0r1 On wednesday 3.2.2016 following a change of slides in the Epson 35mm slide tray, Job Manager started to output files at 300 dpi, even though HDR RAW was selected. Today, 4.2.2016, Ai Studio complained about the Epson drivers. I did what any self-respe...

Re: Font size

At the same time you could thicken the UI borders. It takes patience and a steady hand to position the cursor on top of a border to grab and move it.

Re: Rotating images

When posting the original message I used oversized frames (12 slide tray on Epson V700), mainly to avoid the image overflowing out of the screen area. I now use a frame set accurately defined to fit the image area of a slide on each of the 12 slides. Sometimes I get an overflow, requiring adjustment...

Re: HDR job manager renames files

Unfortunately your suggestion did not help. I tried deselecting and selecting these (with shutdown and restart of HDR), without luck. Right-clicking (auxiliary click) thumbnails and selecting transfer to Job Manager produced the same behaviour. I also tried renaming files in Windows and loading them...

File names in job manager II

Enclosed you will find a screenshot of the HDR Job Manager showing the discrepancy between the file name displayed by Windows 10 and the name picked up by the HDR Job Manager. Unfortunately, the image is rather coarse since your board limits attachments to 250 kB and I am too old to fight against co...

HDR job manager renames files

SF & HDR Studio 8.8 + Windows 10 running on a Sony Vaio VPCF1 portable. My archived slides are (so far) grouped in folders corresponding to the original film rolls. The contents of the first folders have been heavily renamed, using a special software, until I could find a suitable name format. V...

Rotating images

This post continues from the same subject on the HDR board. It suggested using the densitometer to rotate an image as part of the scanning process. The method given on the HDR board works beautifully. Unfortunately, with the latest version of SF Ai Studio the densitometer does not behave properly. C...

Rotating images

I am wondering about the safest method of rotating 64 bit HDRi RAW images (from landscape to portrait). Obviously one can extract the entire image into JPEG format, for instance, and rotate that. Is that feasible / recommended for the original HDRi RAW version?

SF Ai Studio 8.5 job manager copy/paste

Rescanning slides to 64 bit HDRi with SF Studio 8.5 on Windows 10. What happened to the copy paste buttons of the job manager? The sole equivalent I could find was "copy settings to all frames" under the frame icon. Unfortunately, this does not work very well, since the job manager display...

Good to know!
Is there any software which can make bulk additions or modifications to the metadata without destroying the image ?

Re: Extracting image from HDRi RAW 64 bit

Hello! I had it wrong (obviously). I watched the movie for version 8 more carefully, and the movie shows all icons greyed out until you import images to the job manager and then start to work on them. I don't yet have the steps fully in control, but it is apparent that I had the wrong impression abo...

Re: Extracting image from HDRi RAW 64 bit

(Previous message closed too early)
Could it be that the behaviour of Silverfast HDR is an artefact of Windows 10? System memory is 6 Gbytes. I have noticed that Windows will close Silverfast if you click icons in rapid sequence.

Re: Extracting image from HDRi RAW 64 bit

The tools are only greyed out when you select one of the HDRi RAW formats for output. Please make sure it is set to 48->24 or another output. The middle icon at the top of the docks is set (has all the time been set) at 48->24, if that is what you mean by output. My work around is as follows: - wit...
