Re: Muti-tasking 35mm

Hi Peter K can I return to the original group pre scan and select and start processing the next 35 mm slide? Yes, it is possible to return to the overview and select any other slide, however, it is not possible to zoom in because the scanner is working with the previous slide. In that case you have ...

Re: Newbie: Se8 Twisting image...

Hi there,

if you check the red scanning frame, towards the middle of each side you will find a semi-circle. Placing the mouse right above (the cursor changes) will allow you to free-rotate your scanning frame by any angle.

Re: REFLECTA MF5000

Hi there, The scanner and the software have been extensively tested. Perhaps there might be a problem with the version you downloaded. Please uninstall the software and try downloading the installer again (cleaning the temp files of your browser first), install SilverFast and try it again. Kind rega...

Hi JoeP, There will not be any new profile in a short notice. I recommend modifying an existing profile which resembles the characteristics of your film to match your need. "How to" is described in page 223 of the next pdf document: http://www.silverfast.com/showdocu/en.html?docu=926 Kind ...

Hi Tim,

SilverFast 8 can not be launched from the old "Universal Launcher". It should be started using the icon for this purpose

Re: RPS 7200

Hi there many of my film strips are not 24x36 mm, but 28x28 or 18x24 mm. The preview does not recognize these formats and always assumes 24x36. Is this a limitation of the scanner? Of Silverfast? Is there a way around this (short of scanning them as individual pictures)? The scanner is a 35 mm film ...

Re: SilverFast 8 - Mac OS X - drivers

Hi When can we expect a fix for this? I've contacted plustek as well, and they are very unresponsive and seems unaware of the situation. What is going on here, is somebody trying to fix this issue? We can control what happens with SilverFast and within our company. However we do not have any power o...

Re: Kodak Instamatic 126 Negative

Hi there,

Great, so it means the scanner is capable of transporting the film strip. Since the scanner is a 35 mm device, it thinks it is transporting its format. Hence you have to manually draw your scanning frame to the smaller size of your format.

Re: iSRD and other suggestions

Hi gmk Starting with revision 7 of the HDR Studio 8 beta releases the software does not recognize the IR channel of my 64 bit HDRi negative scans generated with SF 6.6.X (i. e. it offers only SRD but not iSRD). Appreciate your contribution. This issues have been reported and will most likely be corr...
