Silverfast stopped working with Reflecta ProScan 7200

I have been using Silverfast 8.8 Ai Studio with Reflecta ProScan 7200. Now I installed 8.8 Ai Studio for Epson V800. After this Silverfast does not any more work with ProScan. I always get "Silverfast 8.exe has stopped working" when trying to do prescan with Reflecta. SF works with Epson. I performed resetting but that did not help. I am running Windows 7 64bit and I have the same version of SF for both Reflecta and Epson (8.80r3)

Dear customer,

Please make sure your Reflecta scanner is using the latest firmware. What you describe happens when an outdated Firmware is being used with the latest driver.

The Firmware (a 64kb .bin file) can be downloaded from the Reflecta website and transferred to the Scanner through the CyberView Help menu.

If that does not help please contact us through the SilverFast Help Menu -> Request online support. That will send us your log file.

I have the same issue. The response below recomnmends to "transferred to the Scanner through the CyberView Help menu" - how can I use the Cyberview help menu when we actually use the Silverfast Software???? How can I update the Firmware for Silverfast?

Dear user,

CyberView is the manufacturer software available from their website. It is not part of SilverFast.
